Since 1945, Biafran nationality groups have been subjected to repeated pogroms, harassment and dispossession of property.  The scale and frequency suggests genocide

During the 1967-70 Biafran Civil War, over 1 million Biafran civilians died of starvation as a result of a Nigerian policy aptly described as “starvation is a legitimate weapon of war.”
