For September 11, 2009

You have heard the news; now, the analysis…

Fellow Biafrans:

Finally, though sadly, it appears that the real plight of our masses (especially our youth), under this current dispensation of occupation of Biafra by Nigeria, is beginning to be acknowledged by Igbo and other Biafran elite. On a daily basis, we have tried to tickle the conscience of the Biafra Elite, a cadre which includes the Biafrans in Nigeria’s political class, Biafrans employed by Nigeria in so-called civil service, Biafrans active in Diaspora organizations, Biafran religious and church leaders and their paid functionaries, Biafran so-called "traditional rulers," and OHANEZE members. They are Biafra’s Elite we speak of. We write, we speak, we sing dirges, we show them facts, we mirror back to them the Evil visited on our people by Nigeria, all to no avail.

In those days prior to 2008 when MASSOB members, still genuinely pursuing Biafra actualization as the solution for our plight, were killed, maimed and or unjustly imprisoned by Nigeria, these Biafran elite said nothing and pretended not to notice; as a matter of fact, sometimes, they aided the Nigeria Police in brutalizing our people as such. Most of them do not know what "MASSOB-53" or "Apo-6" stands for. They could care less about the fact that the Nigerian Census was deliberately designed to cheat our people; many of them even criticized Biafrans who boycotted that fraudulent exercise. Nor do they have the moral fiber to challenge what passes for Nigerian "elections"; rather, they are willing to crawl in bed with any-government-in-power so they can get their share of "money for sharing"; they refuse to state the obvious regarding these so called elections: shams repeated with increasing determination (do-or-die) to do worse than the previous in both process and outcome. In the end, they know that politics in Nigeria is a mockery of civility, a true crime which benefits only the politicians, while deliberately burning the people; but they still embrace it, even in the knowledge that Biafrans are specifically targeted and ultimately, the most adversely impacted.

The Church owners- / leaders-elite, with one hand stole from poor, starving hopeless Biafrans, to build their lavish earthly empires and live with the pomp of earthly kings while pretending to preach the Gospel to our people; with the other hand, they accepted with greed part of the loot stolen from the public till by the other elite, thereby encouraging them to steal more. They cared not what happened to the people they preached God to. Along with the other elite, they watched Education destroyed and responded by sending their own kids to school outside Biafraland and outside Nigeria. They had no concern about a failed Health Care system because they could easily jet to the US, UK, or Germany / Europe just to have their Blood Pressure checked. What passed for Economy in Nigeria was merely "sharing" of Biafra’s Oil money by the elite and spending it anywhere but in Biafraland—damn the masses; and who cared if they had no employment and no food.

The Biafran elite watched, participated in or actively caused the flight of people and resources from Biafraland into parts of Nigeria and outside the region. They live comfortably and conveniently in Abuja or Lagos or in Northern Nigeria. In Biafraland, the hapless people who could, left; those who could not still left, only to be caught in the hellishly hot sand dunes of the Sahara Desert, to be beheaded as illegal immigrants in Kaddafi’s Libya or be chased off multi-storey buildings in China. Some of the luckless Biafrans forced to pursue this "anywhere but here in Biafraland" flight program wind up in Northern Nigeria—straight into the waiting, open jaws of the Jihadist Monster ever thirsting for Biafran blood. In one way or another, the Biafran elite contributed to this sad state of affairs and or its sustenance in our homeland.

The masses seemingly trapped in Biafraland resolved to die out on the clock, resigned to their hopeless fate; but some able-bodied and frustrated youth refuse to go quietly. The latter have engaged in all manner of vicious crimes; when flushed from or tired of one form, they quickly move into the other, this time, more horrific. Yesterday, it was petty theft and thuggery; then, armed robbery. Today, it is kidnapping for robbery and murder; a little earlier in the day, it was just kidnapping for ransom. As this day wears on, it will become something worse than what prevails now, when no one thought it could ever get worse. And, tomorrow? That’s what has gotten the attention of the Biafran elite; tomorrow makes today a mere child’s play.

So, as before, we will offer a piece of advice to the Biafran Elite, now that they are paying attention. We do not expect them to listen to us, based on past history; but we sincerely hope and trust that they can "listen" to what is happening around them, in our land; what is happening to us now, and how it will all most certainly get worse if the current dispensation persists in the future. We will be direct: The answer is Biafra. The only effective solution to this nightmarish quandary is Biafra. We must actualize Biafra. We must all support the process for Biafra actualization. Biafra is the basis of hope for our now hopeless people. Biafra is both the promise and delivery of a sound and bright future for our people, a future studded with great options and opportunities and even excitement. Biafra is the future that accommodates our sincere needs and our natural aspirations; the state that engages and harnesses our numerous talents for Good. Because Biafra has people-resources. Because Biafra has natural resources. Because Biafra has mental resources. Because Biafra has Spiritual resources. Because, Biafrans are hardworking, entrepreneurial, and naturally honest people.

And so, to the Biafran Elite: before you offer nonsensical solutions like: a) arm the Nigeria police in Biafraland more, b) Nigeria send in more Nigerian troops to Biafraland, c) create more Nigerian States in Biafraland, d) capital punishment for all kidnappers / armed robbers, etc.—before you entertain such cretinous ideas—think again. None of those will help. We need Biafra—that is the solution. Before you start (or continue) positioning yourself for another round of Nigeria’s fraud called elections, forgetting that half-a-century of such has only brought us to this low point (of your concern, finally; and fear), stop and think! We should not be participating in Nigeria’s fraud. We need our own government, elected by our own people, accountable to our people: it is called, Biafra. That’s the solution.

To recap: Support Biafra actualization. Biafra is the only basis for hope for our hope-less people; Biafra is both the promise and the delivery of a bright future for our people, a future of untold, great opportunities. Biafra is a vessel which accommodates our needs and aspirations; an engine which engages and harnesses our numerous natural and acquired talents. Not Nigeria—no! Biafra, yes! Biafra. Biafra.

Biafra alive! Because it is God Who makes it so.

That’s the News Analysis for the week. Thank you.
