This is the News Analysis segment of the Voice of Biafra International (VOBI) broadcasts
For April 28th 2007
You have heard the news; now, the analysis…
Fellow Biafrans:
As you all know by now, every stakeholder-Nation and stakeholder-Organization in the entire world has come out in full condemnation of Evil Nigeria’s recent fraudulent electoral process. This includes even the British government. Not that we necessarily need the validation from these sources, but we all should feel satisfied by our principled boycott of one more alien and corrupt practice of Nigeria; “alien” to us literally for the fact that we are Biafrans and not Nigerians, and for the fact that such hideous display of brazen deceit could never even be thought of in Biafra. Only in Evil Nigeria…!
And, as you are aware, Nigerian masses may possibly engage in civil disobedience action soon, in protest against their being politically and socially raped by the Evil Nigeria’s government of General Obasanjo in this “rig-amatic” exercise by PDP and Obasanjo. Wow! If only one could imagine what it would take to rouse eternally comatose Nigerian masses to action! This speaks volumes of how deep the cut inflicted on the collective Nigerian masses by Obasanjo and his regime this time around, is. Here, once again, we ought to be proud of our principled stand in boycotting Nigeria’s fraud: we do not participate in Immorality; we do not join in Fraud and Deceit, and we will never validate immoral, illegal, falsified and cheating exercises.
The level and methods of rigging of evil Nigeria’s so-called elections, and the indisputable nature of it, are such that Nations like Britain and the US, and groups such as EU and AU are expecting justified action by Nigerians to throw out the results and annul the elections. They are as supportive as they can be without running the risk of being accused by Obasanjo of inciting the civil actions themselves. All they ask now is that whatever corrective action is being taken should be non-violent and orderly. For once, the World is admitting how bad Nigeria really is or can be; for once, the World is supporting and will accommodate remedial action against Nigeria’s evil establishment and government, openly, even if not directly. With this development, pretending any more that Nigeria is functioning and that Obasanjo is doing a good job for Nigeria, is a bygone lie: never again will these Nations wallow in such deceitful propaganda. This time around, Nigeria has really exposed her ugly nakedness, and there is no apparel sufficient to cover her hideous body of Evil, no disguise sufficient to hide her Immoral Intent. Now that Nigeria cannot hide her evil and it’s all open to the world-public, these Nations will never again run the risk of covering up for Nigeria. It’s over! for Nigeria.
Of course, come tomorrow, these same World-Nations may do an about-face and start doing business again with Nigeria, with Obasanjo and PDP—as usual. And, come tomorrow, the forever-sleepy Nigerian masses may decide to go back to slumber, and remain asleep, as is their habit. We never looked up to these parties, in the first place, to support our boycott of Nigeria’s fraud prior to the pre-rigged elections. We are not now going to count on their post-election protest to shake some sense into Obasanjo and his evil regime, and to shake some sense even into themselves. Whatever these parties do or do not, nothing will ever be the same between Nigeria and them. On the other hand, on our part, it will be the same; our principled stance remains the same: on Biafra we stand. We are Biafrans. We are not Nigerians. We will not be participants in the Evil called Nigeria. We will not belong to the Evil called Nigeria. We have Biafra: we are Biafra.
As the storm gathers and then, rages in Nigeria in the coming days, whether such storm waxes and wanes and lingers or just simply escalates out of control, or even fizzles out completely, we call on you to remain resolute: our goal is Biafra; our process is Biafra actualization; our prize is Biafra and our reward is Biafra. We are doing the correct thing: we can thus count on our God.
At this time, we remind Obasanjo and his regime that we shall hold them accountable for any ill that befalls our brethren being held in Nigeria’s jails on Obasanjo’s orders. Ralph Uwazurike, the leader of MASSOB, Uchenna Madu, the information Director of MASSOB, other MASSOB directors, other MASSOB members and all pro-Biafra activists being held in Nigeria’s jails, as well as Asari Dokubo, must be released now. We also use this medium to ask that any Transitional Governance Arrangement in Nigeria must release our brethren as its first act if Obasanjo has not done so before the sun sets on Obasanjo’s evil person and regime. The world has suddenly become a less friendly place for Obasanjo and his cronies today: the world is going to aid in holding them accountable for any and all crimes against humanity—against our brethren whom he locked up in prison.
Biafra alive! Because it is God Who makes it so.
That’s the News Analysis for the week. Thank you.
