We pose some questions to you today. First, do you have Biafran blood flowing in you? Then, you are Biafran. Second, are you related only by marriage to a Biafran? Then, you are a Biafran where marital custom and laws so specify. This makes you (and your children) all Biafrans. Third, do you want to see
This makes us all members of MASSOB. This makes us all members of the all-Biafran collective movement pursuing only one common goal, the realization of the Sovereign State of
This, then, is our response to the renewed persecution, harassment, injuring, detention, torment, killing and jailing of MASSOB members and leadership, on Obasanjo’s orders, being carried out by his security officers, otherwise known as murderers. The rest of us may not have signed up yet as registered members of MASSOB, but we are in fact all MASSOBians. So, whatever the wicked Nigerian agents and their master, Obasanjo, do to MASSOB, they are in fact doing to all of us.
Our people, we want you all to know and to acknowledge at all times that we are all MASSOBians. We want you all to act and carry yourselves like MASSOB members which you truly are. If anybody asks: show me MASSOB members, you all raise your hands, all at the same time, without hesitation. They can hurt and kill us, but, they cannot take away what we are—MASSOB, headed for our prize, the Sovereign State of Biafra.
Fellow Biafrans, just as Jehovah dealt with Pharaoh and
Shameless he is, he—General Obasanjo who—recently is quoted as saying, regarding the convocation of a Sovereign National Conference:
"If you can convince me [General Obasanjo] that a Sovereign National Conference has something it can achieve which the National Assembly cannot achieve, who were elected in their own right, which the governors cannot achieve, which the traditional rulers cannot achieve, which the leaders of thought that met from all walks of life cannot achieve, who we can trust in their own right; different associations, women groups even the youths I had conference with. If all these cannot achieve what we want to achieve then I wonder what the Sovereign National Conference will achieve."
How blind or hypocritical can a so-called leader be? What does something—anything—have to do to do better than the National Assembly of Nigeria? All it has to do is accomplish just a single thing—anything—anytime in a five year period; for, indeed, since inception in 1999, can General Obasanjo point to one thing that the National Assembly has achieved? And, who is responsible for that paralysis and nonfeasance of the National Assembly if not the meddlesome, controlling, intimidating, dictatorial General Obasanjo himself? Even for him to claim that the National Assembly and governors were “elected in [its] own right” reveals more hypocrisy or outright pathological lying. Does Obasanjo forget so soon that the elections were roundly rigged, that names were shuffled around to fill positions, regardless of whether they contested the elections in the first place or not, whether they "won" the election or not? Does Obasanjo forget so soon that godfathers who finance and work for PDP party handpicked the members of the National Assembly? Is it the natural forgetfulness of old age or is it plain denseness which impels Obasanjo to make statements like this? “…leaders of thought who we can trust in their own right…”? C’mon, General Obasanjo! If there are really true leaders of thought, have you ever listened to their thoughtful counsel—isn’t this what you are faulted on by everyone (except for your sycophants)? The fact is that the few leaders of thought that the peoples living in Nigeria can actually trust, have called for a Sovereign National Conference, but you have maintained a deaf ear. Oh yes, what do you expect the Youth and the Women groups to say to you, General, when they are so vulnerable; when you bribe them and or threaten to withhold the hush money you send them? What do you expect them to do when you can unleash your murderous security agents on them at your whim and pleasure?
As for the reported conversation where you, General Obasanjo, claim that you spoke to an Igbo boy who said he wanted Sovereign National Conference so that an Igbo can be President of Nigeria, all we can say is that most likely, it was Wabara you spoke to; Wabara is in fact Igbo, and Wabara is in fact a “boy”—your boy, that is.. And, you and he must have had a good laugh as you mocked Ndigbo and he, ever willing to please you, laughed and mocked his own people along with you. We can give you several reasons why a Sovereign National Conference is the only orderly process-alternative left for Nigeria, but we can see that the religious riots happening even as you spoke now have no meaning for you; nor the recently suppressed though constitutionally allowed opposition protest march against your government. In fact, it was suppressed on your orders, and you claimed it a victory for yourself. The problem—typical of you—is that you don’t listen, and you don’t hear. But, you, General Obasanjo, shall hear this: Biafra. That reason alone justifies a Sovereign National Conference. But, rest assured that we will have Biafra, with or without a Sovereign National Conference. It is our Divine destiny,

This week, we urge you all to trust that God will prevail over Obasanjo and Nigeria in the same manner that He did over Pharaoh and Egypt, and bring about whatever effects will be necessary to loosen the evil and leprous grip of Obasanjo and Nigeria on Biafra so that Biafrans can be on her way to the Sovereign State of God-blessed Biafra.
