You have heard the news; now, the analysis…  

“My peoples and my nations shall not be sacrificed for the sake of preserving a worthless idea called Nigeria .” So speaketh the Lord. And so it is.  

“The peoples and their nations must live and thrive, though the name and concept of Nigeria die. The peoples and their nations must not, and will not, be allowed to perish just to save a dying Nigeria .” So says the Lord.  

Fellow Biafrans:  Heaven and Earth shall pass away, but the Word of God stands. You can count on It.  

As is our custom and tradition, this Christmas season, many of us have returned from all parts of this planet, back from every single continent and country in the world, traveling back to our homeland, Biafra, where our umbilical cord is firmly attached. Biafra is a land of which it is God’s good pleasure to create, and even greater pleasure to make us Biafrans and inhabitants and caretakers of this wonderful land. As we trickle back or flock back home in droves, we are forced to wonder: what kind of God’s land is this? We reunite with our people whom we left for foreign lands; we look at them now, and we wonder: what kind of God’s children are these?  Permit us to invite all of us, then, to join us in this week’s news analysis, a segment of Voice of Biafra International (VOBI) weekly broadcasts.

Today, we shall address Igbo-Biafran businessmen and women--which includes Igbo-Biafran Traders; and also, Igbo-Biafran students. We shall point out to them what their contribution to the revival of our great Biafran character, culture, tradition and religion is. We shall remind them of our God-given talent of excellent scholarship and unmatched entrepreneurial spirit. These talents, combined, make us Biafrans well endowed for academic and technical achievements and excellence; and also well endowed for unbeatable business acumen and unparalleled success in business. Before we get there, let us take a few minutes to address some relevant issues.  

We note with satisfaction that Joe Achuzie, the new Ohaneze Secretary-General, has formally made it clear that the membership of Ohaneze DO know  that Obasanjo-Aso Rock have tried and are trying to influence the organization through some Igbo elements who are also known to Ohaneze. We note with satisfaction the implication that Ohaneze will cater to the needs of Igbo-Biafrans vis-a-vis the needs of the occupying evil known as Nigeria , evil as demonstrated by Obasanjo’s efforts. Now, we the people ask Ohaneze to purge the unrepentant errand-boys of Obasanjo and other pro-one Nigeria , anti-Igbo- anti-Biafran-Nation individuals from the organization. Specifically, the membership of Iwuanyanwu, not to speak of his even holding a post in Ohaneze, poses a validity and moral test for Ohaneze, since Iwuanayanwu is a known Obasanjo paid agent who has not expressed any remorse for what he did to our people through his position in Ohaneze for the 2003 now-known-to-be-fraudulent Presidential elections.  

In another matter, we maintain our call for Ngige to resign from the post of the governorship of Anambra. His admissions with regards to his activities and the role he played during the ordeal and predicament which he placed himself in, disqualifies him as a Governor. We also expect the National Assembly to impeach Obasanjo on this issue for maintaining that this is a PDP-family affair instead of a matter for the law of the land (although we know that when it comes to Nigeria, there is no real country; all there are are Obasanjo and his friends making and bending the rules as they please, mocking the so-called constitution). Obasanjo should be impeached for awarding so-called highest Nigeria ’s National honor to Police IG Balogun, after AIG Ige, who reports to Balogun, carried out this abduction and coup in Anambra. In any decent country, Balogun should have resigned if he was clean because this serious crime happened under his watch, or be tried by the courts if he was involved; and or sacked by whoever he reports to—in this case, Obasanjo. Instead, Obasanjo "rewards" Balogun with such so-called highest National honors. At least, one thing is confirmed: the honors and the country they represent, Nigeria, are thus not only worthless but are a mockery. Obasanjo should be impeached for shielding Uba and (other PDP godfathers). We realize that Wabara, being a spineless Obasanjo’s errand boy, would never contemplate such action.  

We expect that Anambra government should be turned over to the rightful officials voted for by our people in the 2003 elections—officials of APGA. As a matter of fact, the whole Igbo-Biafraland should be turned over to APGA because we voted for APGA overwhelmingly, but PDP-Obasanjo rigged the elections and brought us the likes of Uba and Ngige, Mbadinuju, Wabara, Orji Uzor Kalu and the rest of their ilk. PDP is an illegitimate government and fraudulent self-appointed authority foisted over our people. Let us not forget that.  

Fellow Biafrans: let’s now get back to our business men and women and traders; and then, our students.

May we be blunt? There is little hope of infrastructural repair and rescue in Igboland-Biafraland until either one of 2 things happens:

a) Our traders and business men and women bring back their business headquarters and operational centers to Igbo-Biafraland; or

b) Biafra is actualized.

And, it is not just our roads, airlines (International airport in Igboland), water, electricity, communications—telephones, Internet; it is also about economic recovery, employment, technical skills acquisition and personal empowerment and social rescue.  

We ask you to recall that recently, Oil was discovered in Anambra, but the Oil Company involved immediately stated that its headquarters will be established in Lagos ! Imagine that! Please spend a moment and think about this; then, as our people say, count your teeth with your tongue.  

We want to be able to say, “a word is enough for the wise,” but instead, the only thing that comes out of our mouth is that “the fly that refuses to follow good counsel soon perishes, having lingered too long and followed the corpse into the grave.” Do we need to point out to you that none of your properties and businesses are safe in those places where you prefer to place them instead of in Biafra ? Is it safe in Lagos ? Abuja ? Any place in Northern Nigeria ? Any place in Western Nigeria , for that matter? What about the other West African countries? You yourself realize that property and businesses are replaceable—to some extent, but what about your own lives which are threatened almost daily in those other places? How can your life be replaced ? 

Folks: you are the best business men and women and the best traders in the entire world. We are not joking about this. That’s your Biafran genetic trait, and you have demonstrated it quite well. But, when you can’t see to make your own land, Biafraland, better with your trade and talents, but insist on beautifying and improving other people’s lands, how wise or how good, how successful can you claim to be? Think about it.  

This coming year, we recommend that you begin the process of relocating your operational headquarters to Igbo-Biafraland. Then, move some, if not all, of your business back to Biafraland. If you operate from Igbo-Biafraland, we will never again beg Obasanjo to repair our infrastructure.  And, your clients and customers will gladly come from all over Nigeria and West Africa and the world for that matter, to Igboland-Biafraland for your services and offerings, and articles.

Let this be your least contribution to Biafra actualization. Please, do not wait for us to actualize Biafra first before you can do your part. We need you now—today. Our people say that beautification starts first from home and then spreads out from there.  

Next, we want to address our students.

Today, we lament that you, our Biafran Students, know NOT the potential, nor the exploits of your Biafran parents and elders, or of our Biafran ancestors. Nor have you known the joy of fulfilling your own potential educationally, the joy of competing academically or in the workplace with anybody from anywhere on this planet and beating them all!!! But your entire being tells you that you have that same stuff—that same right stuff. Unfortunately, the structure of one-Nigeria has made sure that other forces from Nigeria have conspired to systematically deny you of the opportunities to obtain a sound education, to secure a decent job afterwards, to demonstrate your expertise and excellence in the workplace, and to get credit for what you have earned by merit and by right.  

We have been blunt and straightforward: the problem is one- Nigeria . Nigeria is afraid of our Igbo-ness, our Biafra-ness. Nigeria hates our Biafran industrious nature and the fact that we Biafrans are high-achievers. For this matter, Nigeria is going to all extent to make sure that that good seed which you are, does not get planted; when planted, does not sprout; when sprouted, must be snuffed out, and even when the indomitable seed manages to escape all this attack and hostility to become a tree, Nigeria cuts you down and prevents you from bearing fruit. Think about it: what is the true root of your problems today? It is Nigeria--one-Nigeria. All the time, you try to be more one-Nigerian than Nigerians themselves; all the time, Nigerians laugh at you and keep you suppressed and deprived.

Today, we ask you to wake up. Know that the only solution for your situation is Biafra . We have to support Biafra actualization. We have to support Biafra , because only therein can you fulfill your potential. Remember, Nigeria can never be the answer because for Nigeria to stop hating you and then accept you, Nigeria has got to get over their fear of your Igbo-ness/ Biafra-ness; and this can only happen when you stop being Igbo-Biafran. You know as well as we do that you cannot stop being what your genes make you. You cannot be anything other than Igbo-Biafran; it’s in your blood, it’s in your nature—and God made you that way. Some stupid people have suggested that you go and beg Nigeria for forgiveness—yah, right: beg Nigeria to forgive you because you are Igbo-Biafran? Let's say you do this, then, after that, you no longer would be Igbo-Biafran? What nonsense! What a stupid idea!  

So this coming year, we ask our traders and business men and women, and our students to embrace Biafra actualization. Get interested in your homeland, Biafra , our homeland—the only one you, we, have. Come home and revitalize Igbo-Biafraland. Join genuine pro-Biafran organizations, including MASSOB. Work together with all genuine pro-Biafran organizations. Organisations are genuine if they have as their sole agenda the actualization of Biafra , and they are pursing this agenda with commitment and diligence and dedication. Never be deceived again into thinking that Nigeria is the answer for Igbo-Biafrans. Biafra is the only answer  

For those going back to the places of their sojourn at the end of this season, remember that the only effective and feasible answer to all the ill and anomalies surrounding our people and in our land which you have witnessed today—the solution—is Biafra. Make Biafra actualization your 2004 New Year pledge; renew this pledge until Biafra is actualized.  

God has blessed Biafra . Who can take that away from her? God has created you and blessed you as Biafran: who can change that? Thus, Biafra lives!

May the season bring us what we desire-- Biafra.
