Biafra Freedom Movement
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
Amsterdam, 20th August 2004
Biafra Freedom Movement was formed and registered in Amsterdam Chamber of Commerce in late 2002 by Chief A.U. Okoro and two other members. Biafra Freedom Movement, as the name implies, is solely dedicated to realising Igbo freedom from perpetual slavery, oppression, marginalisation and other forms of injustices; and also, to the actualisation of the sovereign state of Biafra.
The above objective we will achieve through non-violent means as we are part and parcel of other genuine Biafra actualisation groups, for example, Biafra Foundation (BF) and MASSOB (Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra), etc., who believe in non-violent means.
Since the formation of this movement we have created international awareness of the pathetic state of Biafrans in the present-day Nigeria, even though the civil war ended 33 years ago. We have been experiencing continuous teeming membership.
